Responsibilities & Context:
∎ International Prospector
∎ Develop and contact suppliers, search for viable overstock for our client's market
∎ Evaluate overstock meets the pricing and quality of our requirements
∎ Prospecting to buy overstocks and unsold items ( Garments, Shoes, Bag, Home textile, Furniture etc) at the best prices in order to sell them to our France Store.
∎ Prospecting the markets: Inquiring about new suppliers through internet, fairs, magazines and data bases; update its own database by expanding the researches to an international level
∎ Call the supplier in the database and searching for the opportunity to buy a stock lot from them.
∎ Investigate the reason of the stock, the needs of the supplier in term of stock clearance, and pre-negotiate the collaboration terms.
∎ Assessing the ability of suppliers to meet the requirements of the cost, time quality and quantity (verify the seriousness and reliability of potential suppliers)
∎ Ensure that the products are compliant to the quality standards and to the regulations of the target markets
∎ Communicating with International Buyer to help to place order
∎ Ensuring the proper conduct of the procedure and the observance of rules and deadlines
∎ Teamwork, Communicate with managers, buyers and colleagues
∎ Continuous monitoring of ongoing business affairs and current files

∎ Prospecting worldwide to buy overstocks and unsold items at the best prices in order to sell them to international customers:
∎ Prospecting the markets : Inquiring about new suppliers through internet, fairs, magazines and data bases ; update its own database by expanding the researches to an international level

∎ Manage the claims and litigation with the customers and suppliers
∎ Help the claims with the suppliers.

∎ Sourcer
∎ Conduct online research to identify potential suppliers based on specific product families, including those with destocking potential.
∎ Continuously update and maintain the company’s supplier database, ensuring accuracy and completeness of information.
∎ Verify the existence and credibility of potential suppliers through online platforms such as Selligent and other research tools.
∎ Create new suppliers in our system following the predefined template, ensuring proper details such as company name, address, phone number, email, website, and product families are captured.
∎ Establish and maintain effective communication with prospective suppliers to gather the necessary data and address any inquiries.
∎ Strictly adhere to the company’s sourcing procedures to ensure quality and consistency in the supplier sourcing process.
∎ Min Exp - 1 year+ (Freshers with relevant educational background will also work)
∎ We are seeking a Sourcer to join our dynamic team at Ozeol International in Dhaka. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a strong ability to conduct in-depth online research, and the skills necessary to maintain accurate supplier information in our database. As a Sourcer, your primary responsibility will be to identify and validate potential suppliers based on product families, verify supplier data, and ensure up-to-date records are maintained. You will play an essential role in our supply chain management process, ensuring that our sourcing procedures are followed meticulously.
