A. General Qualifications

Professional Qualification

• Must have a professional qualification as a electrical or mechanical or civil engineer or other applicable
• Must have proficiency in English
• 15 years of professional experience

B. Project-related experience

• 10 years of experience in project management and supervision of international large-scale (preferably >USD 1 billion) underground and/or elevated metro projects
• Having Experience working on two projects financed by
• multilateral or bilateral development partners/banks
• Having experience in interface management for at least one similar nature project

C. Overseas Experience

• 2 years of work experience in outside Expert’s country

Designation: Interface Management Lead Specialist

Duration: 4 years

Nationality: Bangladeshi Only

Report to the Additional TL System;

▪  Responsible for preparing the Project Interface Management Plan;

▪  Manage the interface problems to expedite the construction by

    coordinating with the Chief Resident Engineer (Civil) and Chief

     Resident Engineer (Railway System);

▪  Coordinate among the Contractors (CP-01 to CP-09) to establish the

    integrated construction plan for interfacing and

    integrating/harmonizing;

▪  Be primarily responsible for managing all technical matters related

    to the civil and system works of Project Monthly Reports, Final

    Reports, and Design Criteria (Design Build Contract) for interfacing

    and integrating/harmonizing; 

▪  Ensure that the detailed design, specifications, standards and codes

    proposed by the Railway Systems Contractors comply with the

    Employer’s Requirements and Contract documents;

▪  Preparing all technical matters related to the rolling stock of Project

    Monthly Reports, including Final Reports and Design Criteria for

    Interfacing and integrating/harmonizing;

▪  Assist the Client in making Contractors' design interface coordination

   and recommend measures to eliminate or mitigate potential

   conflicts and claims aiming to make integration/harmonization in

   various elements in the Project in terms of construction, operation

   and maintenance of the Project and

▪  Prepare standard/guidelines, template, interface management

   sheet, etc., for the Contractor(s) to manage the project's overall

   Interfacing.
