Experience:
Bachelor`s degree in statistics, information management, urban and regional planning, computer sciences, or a related field
Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis software (Excel, Power BI)
Knowledge and experience in GPS and mapping and familiarity with GIS systems
Experience with data collection tools like Kobo toolbox
3+ years of working experience in data management and relevant fields.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams
Knowledge of humanitarian principles and project cycle management
Proficiency in database management and relevant report writing.

The role of the ICLA Information Management Officer (IMO) is to support the ICLA programme in ensuring quality service by outputs and outcome monitoring through the development and maintenance of an up-to-date ICLA database.
Key Tasks and Assignments:
Develop and update data collection tools (e.g., intake forms, questionnaires) and train field staff on data collection procedures and data entry practices.
Ensure proper filing and archiving of documents (both hard and soft copies) and maintain up-to-date databases, including Target vs Achievements.
Oversee data cleaning, validation, and reconciliation to ensure accuracy.
Develop mechanisms to identify and correct data discrepancies and ensure consistency across all ICLA databases and reporting systems.
Analyze collected data to generate reports on project progress, impact indicators, and trends.
Prepare regular reports for internal and external stakeholders, and use visual tools (graphs, charts, dashboards) to communicate findings.
Conduct field visits to assess data collection practices, resolve data-related challenges, and ensure adherence to reporting standards.
Provide training and technical support on data management practices, reporting standards, and data protection.
Manage and maintain information management systems (e.g., Kobotoolbox, ODK) and assess database systems to optimize efficiency.
Recommend new technologies or automation processes to improve data management and reporting.
Implement security measures to protect sensitive information and ensure compliance with NRC’s data protection policies.
Regularly update data management protocols to align with donor and organisational requirements.
Coordinate with external partners, government agencies, and humanitarian clusters on data-related issues to support evidence-based decision-making and share key data insights with the ICLA PM and other NRC units.
Provide general operational support to the ICLA programme, including managing paralegal contingent workers’ salary documentation and ensuring proper maintenance of the ICLA project inventory, database applications, and backups.
Ensure the proper filing, storage, and archiving of Beneficiary Intake Forms and related documentation and maintain programme files and archives according to set procedures.
Provide ICLA input for GORS and donor reports, and submit regular activity reports to ICLA PM.
