∎ Position Summary: The HR officer based in BIGD, Brac University, is responsible for managing day to day HR functions. HR officer who will directly report to line manager is responsible for managing every aspect of the employment process, payroll, and record keeping.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Preparing job descriptions, advertising vacant positions, and managing the employment processes.
∎ Onboarding new employees and reply to inquiries regarding HR policies and practices.
∎ Assist BIGD employees completing their annual performance appraisal.
∎ Timely process payroll and other employee benefits.
∎ Ensuring accurate and proper record-keeping of employee information in manual and digital format.
∎ Regularly prepare different type of reports and submit them to the supervisors.
∎ Maintain personal files of each employee.
∎ Communicate with unit heads and ensure timely renewal of staff contracts.
∎ Timely communicate with the insurance company and confirm insurance coverage for incumbent and exclude departing staff.
∎ Facilitate exit meeting with outgoing employees and provide a consolidated report to the management.
∎ Issue experience, employment, salary certificate as and when required.
∎ Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Additional Requirements:
∎ 2 - 3 years of relevant experience in HR functions.
∎ Excellent communication skill in English; both writing and speaking.
∎ Effective analytical and problem-solving skill.
∎ Previous experience in providing remote support.
∎ Flexible, motivated and ability to persistently complete tasks.
∎ Ability to operate in a dynamic environment and smartly communicate with various levels of staff.
∎ Well organized and keen to detail.
∎ High integrity and confidentiality.
∎ Skill in Microsoft package; Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Knowing advance excel formulas will be given preference.
