Responsibilities & Context:
  • Coordinate and facilitate recruitment process.

  • Prepare and maintains current recruitment status reports.

  • Assists in the co-ordination of responses to workplace safety and health, administration issues by researching situations and gathering information as required.

  • Maintains record keeping requirements of Workers’ Compensation as directed and provides necessary follow-up.

  • Assists Department Head of Heads in handling employee situations by counselling them in preparing of appropriate verbal and written communication to employee.

  • Assists the need of Human Resources Officer in ensuring the quality and consistency of performance appraisals by reviewing appraisals and counselling Supervisors on appraisals which do not conform to Hotel standards and policies.

  • Fosters positive attitude to Hotel and work environment by assisting the Head of Human Resources in planning and coordinating employee orientation, coordinating and conducting training sessions and other ongoing programs of departments as necessary.

  • Utilize leadership skills and motivation techniques in order to maximize employee productivity and satisfaction.

  • Assists in the co-ordination of wage and performance review activities of the Hotel to ensure compliance with the labor law and control costs.

  • Informs employees of different benefits, Hotel policies etc.

  • Perform orientations, on boarding and update records with new hires

  • Support and perform in maintaining positive employee relations and work to ensure worker satisfaction through education of HR policies and by fostering a positive work environment.

  • Organize, maintain and update employee HRIS information as needed

  • Assist HR training officer in conducting training sessions as necessary and instructed.

  • Preparing incident reports involving accidents and other safety related issues and be a part of investigation team as necessary and instructed

  • Assist managers in dealing with requests and issues relating to maternity, absence, flexible working applications, parental leave, annual and other leave.

  • Schedule meetings, interviews and HR events

  • Conduct exit interviews, when necessary

  • Support employee relations casework, including disciplinary, grievance and performance related matters.

  • Assist HR training officer to book and organize in-house and external training courses as necessary and instructed.

  • Collate paperwork for payroll; changes, overtime and sickness absence and update monthly payroll data sheet.

  • Work closely with the HR Head & team members to ensure all staff related matters and changes are accurately communicated in the most appropriate manner.

  • Confident and proactive in liaising with associates at all levels and working as part of a team.

  • Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and able to multitask and manage competing priorities.
