Job Context:
∎ Rights Jessore is a leading human rights organization in Bangladesh dedicated to protection and promotion of human rights, prevention of human trafficking and providing service to the victims of human trafficking. Since 1991, Rights Jessore has been working for providing supports to victim rescue, repatriation, reintegration and rehabilitation.
∎ Rights Jessore is implementing several projects on anti-trafficking and safe migration issues from the support of different donors. Rights Jessore implementing these projects through dedicated staff who are equipped with relevant qualities for their specific task accomplishment. In every sector of Rights Jessore like program, monitoring finance, accounts and admin has capable staff for implementing task successfully.
∎ In this regard, Rights Jessore will recruit a full time HR and Admin Officer and invites application as per below specific description and qualification;
∎ Position reports to: Director Program of Rights Jessore
∎ Job Location: Rights Jessore head office at Jashore
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Overall coordination and management of HR, Compliance and Administration issue of the organization.
∎ Ensure Preparation and Maintenance of personal files of all personnel in the organization.
∎ Formulate and implement HR and Admin related plan, policy, procedure and guidelines.
∎ Experience in different audit specially in NGOs sector.
∎ Work closely with the higher management of the organization on organizational HR & Admin issues.
∎ Work directly in the recruitment process of all categories of staff and prepare job descriptions, advertising, short listing candidates with rating, conducting interviews, drafting interview protocols, perform reference check and etc.
∎ Provide support on staff development activities of all categories of staffs.
∎ Maintain records and compile statistical reports concerning personnel-related data such as hires and performance appraisal.
∎ Able to develop strategic policy & procedures in aspect of Admin, HR & Compliance issues
∎ Participate in management and staff coordination meetings and attend other meetings and seminars.
∎ Develop, practice, monitor and evaluate of HR manual / policy in the organization.
∎ Assist to accounts section of the organization for their daily task accomplishment.
∎ Perform any other related duties or responsibilities that may be assigned by the organization or donor agency.
∎ Managing Employees performance, people motivation and looking after wellbeing of the employees.
∎ Assist to design organizational compensation and benefit structure according to the policy.
∎ Involve in Performance Management Systems (PMS) and ensure OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration).
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 2 to 5 years' relevant experience based on academic qualification.
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
∎ HR Administration, Audit, and Accounts
∎ Good skill in documentation and report writing in English. Working knowledge of MS Office applications, MS Excel and Power Point.
∎ The applicant should have good knowledge on IT and experience in organizing different online meetings through using different apps.
∎ The applicant should have good communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.
