Lead the creative direction of fashion collections, establishing themes, color palettes, fabrics, and design aesthetics in line with the brand’s identity and market trends.
Conduct research on fashion trends, color forecasts, and consumer behavior to guide design concepts.
Develop mood boards, sketches, and concept designs that align with the season’s direction and customer preferences.
Collaborate with designers to create cohesive and trend-relevant collections.
Manage a team of fashion designers, pattern makers, and assistants, providing guidance and feedback on their work.
Set goals, assign tasks, and monitor performance to ensure the team meets deadlines and quality standards.
Provide training and development opportunities for the design team, encouraging creativity and technical skill improvement.
Foster a collaborative work environment, encouraging teamwork and innovation.
Plan and oversee the development of seasonal collections, from concept through to final samples.

Collaborate with the product development team to ensure designs are feasible, production-friendly, and cost-effective.
Oversee the sampling process, coordinating with pattern makers, sample tailors, and fabric suppliers to produce accurate prototypes.
Make necessary adjustments to samples and prototypes, addressing issues with fit, construction, or materials.
Select and approve fabrics, trims, and accessories that align with the design concept, budget, and brand quality standards.
Develop relationships with fabric and material suppliers, negotiating terms to ensure quality and cost control.
Ensure that all materials used are consistent with the brand’s sustainability and ethical sourcing policies, if applicable.

Participate in the creation of product catalogs, lookbooks, and digital assets that showcase the collection in alignment with the brand image.
Oversee the sample creation process, reviewing and approving initial and final samples before production.
Ensure all approved samples meet brand standards in fit, quality, and design.
Coordinate with the production team to ensure samples are ready for presentations, customer feedback sessions, or photoshoots.
Present designs to senior management, buyers, and stakeholders for feedback and approval.
Prepare presentation boards and sample racks, clearly communicating the design concept, target audience, and market relevance.
Incorporate feedback from internal teams and buyers to make necessary design adjustments before production.
