• Develop and implement daily, weekly, and monthly finishing schedules based on production plans.

• Coordinate with production, quality assurance, and packing teams to ensure smooth operations.

• Allocate resources such as manpower, materials, and equipment to meet finishing targets.

• Supervision of Finishing Processes,

  Oversee all finishing operations, including:

  Thread trimming

  Stain removal

  Ironing/pressing

  Quality checking (QC)

  Folding, tagging, and packing

• Ensure that garments are finished as per customer specifications and quality standards.

• Optimize workflows to improve efficiency and reduce processing time.

• Monitor the finishing process to ensure consistent quality and adherence to standards.

• Identify defects and implement corrective actions to resolve quality issues.

• Work closely with the Quality Control team to minimize rework and ensure customer satisfaction.

• Manage and track finishing supplies, such as tags, labels, packaging materials, and ironing tools.

• Ensure optimal utilization of resources to avoid wastage.

• Coordinate with the stores or procurement team for timely replenishment of finishing materials.

• Ensure the finishing team complies with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment.

• Enforce adherence to company policies and customer compliance requirements.

• Supervise and guide finishing staff, including pressmen, trimmers, and QC personnel.

• Train the team on finishing techniques, quality standards, and operational best practices.

• Address team grievances, evaluate performance, and provide feedback for improvement.

• Maintain accurate records of finishing outputs, including finished goods, defect rates, and production delays.

• Prepare and share reports with senior management regarding finishing performance, issues, and improvement plans.

• Continuously evaluate finishing processes to identify areas for efficiency improvement.

• Implement strategies to reduce rejection rates, improve quality, and optimize costs.

• Stay updated with the latest finishing technologies and techniques in the garment industry.

• Ensure that finished garments are packed, labeled, and ready for shipment as per customer requirements.

• Coordinate with the logistics team to ensure timely dispatch of finished goods.

• In-depth knowledge of garment finishing processes and techniques.

  Strong leadership and team management skills.

• Problem-solving ability to address operational and quality challenges.

• Familiarity with garment quality standards and compliance requirements.

• Proficiency in inventory management and production tracking.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
