  • Professional Certifications such as CIPS, CSCP, or APICS will be considered an added advantage.

Responsibilities & Context:

The Head of Supply Chain (Electronics & Automobile) is responsible for leading and managing the overall supply chain operations of the electronics and automobile divisions. This role ensures that all supply chain activities — from procurement and production planning to logistics and distribution — are executed efficiently and in alignment with the company’s strategic goals, policies, and quality standards. The Head of Supply Chain will oversee a multidisciplinary team, develop and implement supply chain strategies, and drive continuous improvement to enhance cost efficiency, operational performance, and customer satisfaction across the value chain.

Job Description:

Strategic Leadership

  • Formulate and implement supply chain strategies to support the company’s business growth and profitability goals.

  • Provide leadership and direction to procurement, planning, logistics, warehouse, and distribution teams.

  • Drive cross-functional collaboration between production, sales, finance, and R&D to ensure business alignment.

Procurement & Vendor Management

  • Develop and manage strategic sourcing strategies to ensure quality, cost efficiency, and reliability of supply.

  • Identify, evaluate, and maintain relationships with local and international suppliers.

  • Negotiate long-term contracts, pricing, and service-level agreements with vendors and partners.

  • Implement supplier evaluation and audit systems to maintain performance and compliance standards.

Planning & Inventory Control

  • Lead demand forecasting, production planning, and material requirement planning (MRP) to optimize resource utilization.

  • Ensure balanced inventory levels across all stages — raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods.

  • Establish systems for accurate stock visibility, aging analysis, and inventory turnover optimization.

Logistics & Distribution

  • Manage nationwide logistics operations, ensuring timely delivery to depots, distributors, and retailers.

  • Optimize route planning, transportation cost, and warehouse utilization.

  • Oversee inbound and outbound logistics to ensure smooth material and product flow.

Process Optimization & Automation

  • Implement ERP-driven supply chain solutions for better visibility and control.

  • Introduce best practices in supply chain automation, data analytics, and performance monitoring.

  • Identify process bottlenecks and lead continuous improvement initiatives.

People & Performance Management

  • Build, train, and mentor a strong supply chain team with clear KPIs and accountability.

  • Foster a culture of collaboration, efficiency, and innovation across the department.
