Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 35 to 47 years
∎ Minimum 10 years of experience in cement manufacturing with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Establish and maintain Statistical Process Control (SPC) to ensure consistent quality, and develop an Akij Standard Parameter that aligns with all relevant national and international standards.
∎ Maintain CTQ chart and ensure customer satisfaction by maintaining market and user surveys.
∎ Integrate sustainability practices, promoting environmental responsibility and ethical consciousness.
∎ Implement operational excellence initiatives to optimize efficiency and improve overall performance.
∎ Coordinate the calibration of laboratory equipment with accredited external organizations.
∎ Address customer complaints promptly, ensuring swift resolution for enhanced customer satisfaction.
∎ Conduct R&D activities to innovate and enhance product quality.
∎ Develop and implement SOPs to maintain consistent product standards.
∎ Report critical data to the SBU and operations head for informed decision-making.
∎ Review in-process quality assurance reports to identify and resolve issues proactively.
∎ Implement strategies to reduce departmental operating costs through process optimization.
∎ Develop and manage yearly budgets in collaboration with the factory head and finance team.
∎ Liaise with SCM to ensure consistent quality in raw materials and other additives.
∎ Provide coaching and training to the quality team, fostering skill enhancement and alignment with organizational objectives.
∎ Develop and mentor successors to ensure leadership continuity and sustained process improvement.
∎ Implement cost-effective quality solutions to drive efficiency and ensure product excellence.
∎ Plan, control, and execute yearly departmental activities as per strategic objectives.
