∎ Masters in any discipline at any reputed University having no 3rd division/class or CGPA less than 2.50 in any examination. However, professional degree on Supply Chain Management will be added an advantage.

Job Context:
∎ Designation: FAVP to SAVP
∎ Job Location: Head Office, Dhaka
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Developing sound, cost-effective strategies for purchasing of materials and equipment used in the bank.
∎ Maintaining relationships with suppliers while continually scouting for additional vendors.
∎ Evaluating spending operations while seeking ways to improve and enhance the quality of products purchased and the timeliness of deliveries
∎ Communicating with management regularly regarding the efficient flow of goods and services.
∎ Conducting cost analysis and setting benchmarks for improvement
∎ Developing risk management procedures to mitigate losses in the event of product shortages.
∎ Supervising purchasing team and delegating tasks across departments when necessary
∎ Working closely with the company legal department to make sure contracts and terms are favorable and monitor the validity of the contract.
∎ Managing inventories and maintaining accurate purchase and pricing records.
∎ Maintaining and updating supplier information such as qualifications, delivery times, product ranges, product quality, after sales services etc.
∎ Maintaining good supplier relations and negotiating contracts.
∎ Researching and evaluating prospective suppliers.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 10 years of working experience in Procurement Department along with at least 03 years in a supervisory role.
∎ Smart, Team player, paired with agile mindset and can-do attitude.
∎ Good command over English is desirable.
