Educational Requirements:
∎ Masters in any discipline from any reputed University having no 3rd division/class or CGPA less than 2.50 in any examination.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Designing Bank's overall Investment Risk Management Strategy.
∎ Establishing and periodically updating risk assessment & management policies, methodologies, guidelines & procedures related with investment.
∎ To develop and implement controls in order to reduce the investment risk exposure of the bank.
∎ Ensuring that investment facilities are allowed within the Bank's Investment Policies, Manuals and Regulatory Guidance.
∎ To reduce delinquency rate by dealing with thriving sectors and business segments and developing of Risk Analysis & Mitigating Culture.
∎ Review and supervise investment proposals processed by the investment officers/analyst for onward placement to related approval authority.
∎ To perform periodic monitoring and analyses of portfolio performance and follow-up of exceptions, conditions, covenants, overdue, expired investment & documentation.
∎ Analyze & Identify investment risk of allocated business segment (Corporate, SME, Retail).
∎ Portfolio review of corporate, SME & Retail business.
∎ Ensuring that existing investment lines are monitored to identify problematic accounts that require remedial.
∎ Communicating risk controlling views of the Board & Senior Management throughout the bank.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 15-18 years of experience in commercial banks out of which at least 05 years of experience as Head/Deputy of IRM in any scheduled commercial Bank.
∎ Must have extensive experience and adequate knowledge in Investment Risk Factors, Policy and Guidelines, industry and market dynamics.
∎ Good understanding of different circulars, guidelines and instructions circulated by Bangladesh Bank from time to time.
∎ Knowledge on Acts and Laws related to banking business.
∎ Ability to Financial statement analysis i.e. Balance Sheet, Income Statement, cash flow, equity statement for analyzing loans of related segments.
∎ Good analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
