Experience:

• At least 15 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Garments, Textile

• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Textile Engineering
• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Industrial Engineering
• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Apparel Manufacturing

• B.Sc. in Textile Engineering / Industrial Engineering / Apparel Manufacturing from a reputed university.

• At least 15 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Garments, Textile

• Age At most 45 years

• Should have ERP knowledge preferably Logic software.
• Candidate should highly capable to lead a big team.
• Experience in a group of companies will be highly preferred.

Context:

Leading Group of Companies involved in diversified business is looking for Head of Planning for composite knit garments industry. The candidate must have above 15 years working experience in respective field in well reputed high compliance Industry dealing with top international brands like as M&S, C&A, H&M, American Eagle, Mango, Puma, GAP, Nike, Bizzbee, Primark etc.

The candidate must have multiple experiences like production, IE, Quality and over all supervision of knit composite industry. Strong communication skill and at least 5 years working experiences as similar post in knit composite Industry.

Responsibilities:

• Develop the consolidated capacity plan for all knit garment units within the group.

• Review buyer tech packs, order quantities, SMV, and ensure feasibility before acceptance.

• Coordinate with Merchandising to confirm order booking and costing.

• Communicate order allocation and planning updates to all relevant factory managers.

• Allocate capacity based on order confirmation, machine availability, and factory capability.

• Create realistic production forecasts based on ongoing and upcoming orders.

• Prepare time & action (T&A) calendars and ensure on-time execution.

• Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly production progress.

• Coordinate closely with Cutting, Sewing, Finishing & Shipment teams for seamless execution.

• Prepare detailed planning reports for top management.

• Lead the central planning team and provide guidance and training.

• Work with procurement and store teams to ensure timely availability of fabrics, trims, and accessories.

• Identify potential bottlenecks and plan corrective actions in advance.

• Plan optimized line layouts based on product complexity and SMV.

• Work with IE teams to improve productivity and minimize idle time.

• Maintain strong communication with factory heads, merchandisers, and top-level management.
