Educational Requirements:
∎ Graduate from any Reputed University. Candidates having Textile Engineering background will be given priority.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 15 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Planning the allocation of the PDC staffs within the section.
∎ Ensuring that fabrics, thread and trimmings & accessories are available to produce a sample garment.
∎ Identifying and applying the most suitable processes to solve manufacturing problems.
∎ Ensuring that good working practice is applied when using cutting, making and pressing equipment and a safe working environment is maintained.
∎ Communicating with merchandiser and production personnel.
∎ Responsible to evaluate and approve all samples from development, fitting, adjustment and approval.
∎ Experienced to handle large quantities of development sample, able to serve multiple customers of different standard.
∎ Provide technical advice and support in pattern making, fitting and garment construction before sample delivery.
∎ Establish and apply the standard of fit and construction from prototype to bulk production.
∎ Ensure pre-production samples are developed according to the established fit & quality standards as well as complying with cost specification.
∎ Receive and process any Sample requests.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 15 years in PDC in any reputed Knit Composite Factory.
∎ Should have minimum 4-5 years' experience in Managerial Position in the PDC of a reputed Knit Composite Factory.
∎ Should have in depth knowledge of garment knitting, dyeing & manufacturing processes and ensure quality standards.
∎ Must have adequate knowledge on dummies, fit models, the physical aspects of the body structures of men, women and children.
∎ Must have adequate knowledge & experience on pattern making, fabrics, accessories, measurement and their costing.
∎ Needs to have excellent interpersonal skills to communicate clearly and effectively internally and with the buyers.
∎ Should have good knowledge on computer and ERP system for effective online communication internally and externally.
