Job Context:
Grand Group is a premium multi-property hospitality network in Chattogram managing a total portfolio of 84 rooms/keys and a Women Hostel with 160 seat capacity. Following a comprehensive corporate restructuring, the Board of Directors is seeking an elite, uncompromising, and highly system-driven Group General Manager (GGM).
The GGM will act as the on-ground CEO with absolute administrative, operational, and disciplinary custody over our core Hotel properties: New Grand Park Hotel (GEC Circle) and Grand Imperial Hotel (Washa Circle). The chosen candidate will operate completely independently of local staff networks and will report exclusively and directly to the Board of Directors.
Key Responsibilities:
Absolute Operational Command: Assume full administrative and disciplinary control over all in-house departments including Front Office, Housekeeping, F&B/Restaurant Units, and Maintenance.
System Enforcement: Oversee and strictly enforce the migration to a centralized Cloud Property Management System (PMS) and RFID Electronic Keycard Interlocking on July 15, 2026.
Zero-Tolerance Compliance: Eradicate informal "village politics," staff factions, and manual transaction bypassing. Enforce a strict accountability framework against favoritism, negligence, or system breaches.
Revenue Management: Work directly with the Centralized Sales & Marketing Unit to aggressively capture corporate contracts and scale operations to realize target of 90% occupancy.
Quality Inspection: Supervise the on-site Operations Manager to maintain premium room standards, service consistency, and upgrade online hospitality ratings (Google, Booking.com, Agoda).
Board Reporting: Provide verified weekly revenue analytics, cash/bKash reconciliation data, and audit log exception summaries directly to the Board of Directors.
Requirements & Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum 5 to 8 years of active management experience as an Assistant GM, Operations Manager, at a reputable 3-star or 4-star corporate hotel. Experience in Dhaka or Cox’s Bazar hospitality markets is highly preferred to ensure operational neutrality.
Education: Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Hotel Management, Tourism, or Business Administration (MBA/BBA).
Technical Skills: Advanced mastery over modern Cloud Property Management Systems (Cloudbeds, IDS Next, Opera, or similar ERP software) and electronic RFID door-locking systems.
Core Traits: Strong command, exceptional conflict-resolution capabilities, financial integrity, and a zero-tolerance stance against manual data overrides, nepotism, or structural system bypassing.
