Responsibilities & Context: Job Context:
The General Manager - HR, Admin & Compliance will be responsible for leading the Human Resources, Administrative functions, and Compliance initiatives of the factory. This senior leadership role requires strategic HR planning, execution, and management of HR policies, practices, and compliance standards to ensure a productive, legally compliant, and employee-friendly work environment.
Job responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR & Compliance strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
- Oversee the recruitment and selection process to ensure the division attracts and retains the best talent.
- Manage performance appraisal processes to enhance employee performance and development.
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and career development.
- Oversee compensation and benefits administration to ensure competitive and fair remuneration practices.
- Supervise and manage the daily operations of the administrative department to ensure smooth and efficient office operations.
- Develop and oversee the implementation of administrative policies and procedures.
- Manage facilities and office services to maintain a safe and efficient working environment.
- Oversee the management of company assets and ensure their proper use and maintenance.
- Ensure the division complies with all applicable labor laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
- Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential compliance issues.
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Address employee grievances and disciplinary issues fairly and consistently.
- Fulfilling the roles & regulations and taking overall responsibility for factory admin, HR & Compliance.
- Coordinate & arrange for meetings with higher management.
- Coordinating with the Compliance audits & implementing pre/post audit requirements of all kinds of safety issues.
- According to the ILO, Bangladesh laws, rules & regulations & company policy procedures fulfill the compliance standard. Fulfill the Buyer Code of Conduct (COC) and legal compliance issues, and conduct the internal compliance audit.
- Handling all types of audits related to Social/ Environment/ Technical/ BSCI/ WRAP/ C-TPAT/ISO/SMETA (SEDEX)/RCS/GRS/OCS/HIGG/RSC(Accord).
- Implement Buyers COC, BLL-2006, BLR-2015 and international standards.
- Provide proper guidelines to the Compliance Team to maintain Buyer`s COC & compliance related issues and conduct various types of internal audits for own factories and ensure that the Units are always Compliance Ready.
- Any other HR, Admin & Compliance related job linked to the factory operation.
