• Relevant educational degree in clothing, Fashion and Textile, Specialty Industrial modeling.·       
• Good working knowledge in 2d, 3d and manual pattern making.·       
• (20) years experience in buying houses / trading as a product technical of experience within the garment industry (brand or manufacturer).·       
• Fluent in French language with English language written and spoken.

Job Context: 

To handle product development, sample evaluation and sample approval by reviewing construction measurements, patterns, workmanship, fitting (dummy and life model), on production as like sample and size set. Make paper pattern construction and adjust the paper pattern independently. Provide technical support during the sample process; from technical sketch up for final approval for the product. Communicate with customers and vendors during the sample process to achieve the best possible quality and fitting and give solutions for fitting Problems.      

Job Responsibilities: 

• Sample of product development.

• Analyzing sketches and samples, understanding Brand requirements and develop.

• Coordinating and communicating with the Brand on product related issues affecting to fit, construction, technical specifications and raw material’s etc. and subsequently clarifying the requirements and recommending alternative value added options to the Brand to arrive at a mutually beneficial solution.

• Work closely with the Supplier sample rooms and provide all required details to make all types of samples in a timely manner.

• Review test sample if required.

• Work with embellishments plant and conduct technical handovers if required and provide all required details to develop and make strike off.

• Follow- up with Brand for Development/SMS/Proto samples and etc., comments in order to complete pre-production activities prior to start production.

• Conduct risk analysis meeting for new/complicated styles to ensure the product meets Brand’s specifications/standards.

• Work closely with Brands to develop approved block patterns in order to Utilized for confirmed styles and developments.

•  closely with dongyi wash experts and Supplier washing technician to develop wash method/range as per the Brand requirements/standards.

• Review all samples thoroughly and ensure all comments instructions followed prior to dispatch samples.

• Cheek the fittings on Mannequin of live Models and ensure the supplier uses the correct block patterns.

• Coordinating and communicating with the respective merchandisers on product related issues affecting to product, construction, technical specifications and raw matterials etc., and subsequently clarifying the requirements and recommending alternative value added options to the Brand to arrive at a mutually beneficial solution.

• Following –up on all pre-production activities to proactively identify and solve all technical and operational issues related to new products. Whilst ensuring that operations in bulk production flow smoothly, taking initiative for the process flow from the point of product development to the pilot run.·       Ensure accurate and updated comments/workbook from the beginning and communicate technical details through the workbooks for each and every styles.

• If required Conduct and manage pre- production meeting with factories in order to ensure the factories follows customer standards/requirements.

• Ensure to review all the test reports.

• Ensure to keep counter production and maintain monthly records.

Production:

• Working closely with the AQC/TSQA/TSQC on Brand requirements or changers required for productions and etc.

• Providing technical advice (sewing techniques, critical quality points etc.) to relevant staff and resolving critical day to day operational and technical issues in coordination with the production teams to facilitate the smooth transition of the production process.

• Visiting suppliers whenever possible and help production, sample room manager/technical make the beautiful samples meeting the deadlines.

• Update merchandising teams, attend weekly meetings, and work accordingly to the progress schedule in order to complete undertaken tasks in a timely manner.

• Work closely with dongyi QC’s and involve for day to day quality and technical matters.

Management Information:

• Ensuring that all relevant information is maintained accurately, and all required management reports and documentation are prepared and submitted in a timely manner.

• Ensure the following reports are produced on a monthly basis. production hit rate.

Salary: Selected candidate receive monthly remuneration : Basic Salary: USD 2,500/-, House allowance: USD 400/- , Other facilities are subject to company policy and negotiation.
