Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Oversee and manage the entire production operations in the woven garments unit.
∎ Develop and implement strategic production plans to meet company goals.
∎ Ensure alignment of production activities with business objectives and delivery schedules.
∎ Utilize industrial engineering principles to enhance production efficiency.
∎ Conduct time and motion studies to streamline processes and increase productivity.
∎ Implement lean manufacturing methodologies to reduce waste and improve operational efficiency.
∎ Establish and enforce quality standards across all production processes.
∎ Collaborate with the quality control team to resolve quality issues promptly.
∎ Ensure adherence to industry standards and customer specifications for all products.
∎ Lead and mentor the production management team and staff.
∎ Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
∎ Promote a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and teamwork.
∎ Oversee the production budget and manage production costs effectively.
∎ Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising on quality.
∎ Monitor financial performance and ensure cost-efficiency in production operations.
∎ Ensure optimal inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods.
∎ Implement effective inventory control systems to minimize wastage and overstocking.
∎ Coordinate with procurement and supply chain teams for timely material availability.
∎ Identify opportunities for process improvements and lead their implementation.
∎ Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
∎ Encourage innovation and continuous improvement in production processes.
