A renowned 100% export oriented Knit Composite Company of the Country is looking for an experienced, dynamic and highly potential professionals as General Manager (Industrial Engineering) for the Garments Division located at Gazipur.

• Analyze garment production processes, from fabric cutting to final assembly, to identify opportunities for improvement in efficiency and productivity.

• Develop and implement standardized work procedures and best practices tailored to garment production to ensure consistent and efficient operations.

• Monitor and improve the performance of sewing lines, focusing on increasing throughput and reducing downtime.

• Implement time and motion studies to ensure that production processes are as efficient as possible.

• Oversee capacity planning to ensure that production capabilities align with demand forecasts for different garment styles and orders.

• Optimize the use of resources, including labor, machinery, and materials, to achieve cost-effective production.

• Collaborate with production planning, supply chain, and other departments to ensure that resources are allocated effectively and production schedules are met.

• Lead and mentor the industrial engineering team, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.

• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team, with a focus on garment manufacturing.

• Coordinate with production managers, quality control, and other departments to ensure seamless operations across the garment production process.

• Lead and manage projects focused on process improvement, machinery optimization, and cost reduction within the garment manufacturing division.

• Ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and achieve the desired outcomes in terms of efficiency and product quality.

• Work closely with the quality assurance team to ensure that garment production processes meet the required quality standards and customer specifications.

• Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and environmental guidelines in garment production.

• Conduct root cause analysis for quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions specific to garment manufacturing.

• Utilize data analytics to monitor production performance, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions in the garment manufacturing process.

• Prepare and present reports on production efficiency, cost savings, and other key metrics to senior management.

• Continuously track and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented process improvements in garment production.
