  • Minimum 15+ years of experience in manufacturing, with 5 to 6 years in a leadership role.

  • Proven expertise in garments factory & ETP project handling. 

  • Knowledge of factory construction and building safely requirements.  

  • Forward-thinking mindset with the ability to anticipate challenges and identify innovative solutions. 



Responsibilities & Context:

1. Infrastructure Development & Maintenance

  • Plan, design, and oversee construction, renovation, and expansion of factory buildings, warehouses, washing plants, utility areas, and office spaces.

  • Ensure proper layout of production floors, ventilation systems, fire exits, and emergency pathways according to compliance standards.

  • Supervise contractors, vendors, and site workers during construction and repair works.

2. Structural Safety & Compliance

  • Conduct structural integrity assessments of factory buildings and ensure compliance with local building codes, BNBC, Accord/Alliance, and buyer compliance requirements.

  • Carry out load assessments of production floors, especially for heavy machinery and storage areas. Coordinate with safety and compliance teams to maintain building certifications and approvals.

  • Plan and implement preventive and corrective maintenance of civil structures including floors, walls, roofs, plumbing, drainage, and utility lines.

  • Monitor water supply systems, wastewater treatment plants (ETP/STP), and ensure proper drainage and sewage management. Handle repair works after wear-and-tear, accidents, or natural hazards.

  • Oversee structural, architectural, and finishing works related to factory expansion and ETP installations. Conduct feasibility studies and site inspections for new projects, including ETP capacity assessment.

3. Project Management & Cost Control

  • Prepare BOQs (Bill of Quantities), project budgets, and timelines for new projects and maintenance work.

  • Negotiate with suppliers and contractors to ensure quality construction materials within budget. Track project progress, quality of work, and ensure timely completion.

4. Sustainability & Cross Department Coordination

  • Support green building initiatives (LEED, EDGE, etc.) where applicable.

  • Ensure proper rainwater harvesting, solid waste disposal, and eco-friendly construction practices. Collaborate with compliance teams to meet environmental and social responsibility standards.

  • Work closely with production, electrical, mechanical, and compliance teams to integrate civil works with factory operations. Provide engineering support for installation of machinery, utilities, and facility modifications.
