Job Context

Sara Express, a well-known intercity passenger transport service under JSK Group, operates modern Chair Coach and Sleeper Coach Buses across Bangladesh. We are looking for a highly experienced and dynamic General Manager (Bus Operations) to lead, plan, and oversee the overall operations, maintenance, and business development of our passenger transport division. The ideal candidate must have solid leadership skills, in-depth transport management experience, and a strong commitment to safety, service quality, and profitability.

Job Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage overall operations of the bus division (Chair Coach & Sleeper Coach).

• Ensure smooth and efficient intercity transport service through effective route, staff, and fleet management.

• Develop and implement operational strategies, schedules, and safety procedures.

• Lead, train, and evaluate drivers, supervisors, helpers, and support staff.

• Monitor daily operations, trip performance, and service quality.

• Oversee bus maintenance, fuel management, and fleet documentation.

• Coordinate with transport authorities and maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements.

• Control operational costs and maximize profitability through efficient resource utilization.

• Handle passenger feedback, service issues, and ensure excellent customer experience.

• Plan and execute expansion strategies and new route development.

• Prepare operational and financial reports for senior management.

• Ensure all buses are maintained, clean, and operate under proper safety standards.
