Strategic Fleet Planning – Develop long-term fleet strategies, optimize vehicle allocation, and plan for expansion or replacement.
Operational Oversight – Supervise daily transport operations, including allocation of vehicles for goods and staff movement.
Preventive Maintenance Management – Establish preventive maintenance schedules, monitor vehicle health, and reduce breakdown frequency.
Driver & Staff Supervision – Lead and manage drivers, helpers, and transport executives, ensuring discipline, performance, and compliance with safety standards.
Logistics Coordination – Align transport schedules with production, finishing, and export shipment timelines to avoid bottlenecks.
Cost & Budget Control – Monitor fuel consumption, maintenance costs, and overall transport expenses; prepare annual transport budgets.
Vendor & Supplier Management – Negotiate contracts with external transport service providers, monitor service quality, and manage overflow requirements.
Compliance & Safety Enforcement – Ensure adherence to traffic laws, labor standards, and workplace safety requirements; implement driver training programs.
ERP & Data Management – Oversee transport data entry in ERP systems, track fleet utilization, and generate analytical reports.
Audit & Sustainability Support – Ensure transport operations meet compliance standards, support sustainability initiatives (fuel efficiency, emission reduction).
Reporting & Escalation – Submit daily/weekly/monthly transport performance reports to senior management, escalate risks in shipment delays or vehicle breakdowns.
Continuous Improvement – Introduce innovative practices for fleet optimization, digital tracking, and cost reduction.
