Responsibilities & Context:

Lumera – International Residence Hotel is seeking a highly qualified, experienced, and technically strong Project Manager with solid expertise in hotel technology infrastructure, systems integration, and pre-opening project execution. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the complete hotel IT ecosystem setup, managing vendor coordination, ensuring system integration, and achieving full operational readiness before hotel opening.

This position is ideal for project management professionals with prior international exposure, particularly within the hospitality industry and Gulf region.

JOB Responsibilities Checklist

Hotel Technology Ecosystem Setup and Operation Readiness:

1. IT Infrastructure Setup & Deployment

a. Design, install and commission complete hotel IT infrastructure.
b. Configure Core Network, LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, Fiber, Structured Cabling and Internet connectivity.
c. Deploy Server Room, Rack, UPS and power redundancy.
d. Ensure high availability architecture for 24/7 hotel operations.

2. Hotel Systems Implementation

a. Install, configure and support hospitality applications:
b. PMS (Property Management System)
c. POS (Restaurant & Billing)
d. ERP
e. HR & Payroll
f. CRM
g. Booking & Reservation integration
h. Ensure seamless integration among hotel platforms.

3. Guest Technology & Smart Hotel Experience

a. Implement and maintain:

c. Smart Room Control

4. ELV & Security Systems

a. Manage and support:

ix. Coordinate with contractors during testing and commissioning.

5. Cyber security & Compliance

a. Implement IT security policy and access control.
b. Configure Firewall, VPN, Endpoint Protection and Backup.
c. Conduct vulnerability assessment and risk mitigation.
d. Maintain compliance with company and local standards.

6. Data Center & Server Administration

a. Manage Virtualization, Storage, Backup and Disaster Recovery.
b. Monitor server health and system performance.
c. Maintain uptime targets and incident response procedures.

7. IT Operations & Support

a. Provide L1–L3 support across all departments.
b. Prepare SOP, documentation and asset inventory.
c. Conduct preventive maintenance.

8. Vendor & Project Management

a. Coordinate with consultants, suppliers and contractors.
b. Review technical drawings and BOQ.
c. Monitor project timeline and technology delivery.
d. Lead UAT, testing and go-live readiness.

9. Training & Operational Readiness

a. Train hotel staff on all IT systems.
