Responsibilities & Context:

Financial Management & Reporting

• Oversee financial statements including monthly, quarterly, and annual closures.

• Manage working capital efficiently to support continuous factory production.

• Coordinate internal & external audits to ensure error-free financial reporting.

• Supervise treasury operations, cash flow forecasting, and banking relationships.

Factory Costing & Inventory Control

• Lead product costing models for all personal, home, and fabric care items.

• Analyze variance reports comparing standard vs. actual costs of chemical raw materials.

• Establish strict inventory controls for raw materials, packaging, and finished goods.

• Optimize manufacturing overheads to improve gross margins across all product lines.

Budgeting & Strategic Planning

• Drive the annual budgeting process across all departments and plant operations.

• Conduct financial feasibility studies for new production lines or machinery Capex.

• Provide profitability analysis by product category (Soap, Detergent, Liquids).

• Identify cost-saving opportunities within the procurement and supply chain cycles.

Compliance, Tax & Internal Controls

• Ensure full compliance with NBR laws, including corporate tax and VAT regulations.

• Strengthen internal control frameworks to prevent financial leakages and fraud.

• Monitor corporate compliance with local laws and standard accounting practices (IFRS).

• Supervise accurate filing of monthly VAT returns and withholding tax reports.
