As a growing FMCG manufacturer, we are looking for a qualified and self-motivated Executive - Accounts to join our Finance & Accounts team.
Job Responsibilities
Maintain accurate books of accounts and ensure timely recording of all financial transactions.
Prepare payment, receipt, journal, and contra vouchers.
Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
Perform daily, weekly, and monthly bank reconciliations.
Maintain cash books, general ledger, and subsidiary ledgers.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
Assist in preparing budgets, forecasts, and cash flow statements.
Analyze budget variances and prepare management reports.
Maintain inventory records, including Raw Materials, Packaging Materials, Finished Goods, and Work-in-Process (WIP).
Support product costing, manufacturing overhead allocation, and cost analysis.
Maintain the Fixed Asset Register and calculate depreciation.
Prepare VAT returns, tax schedules, TDS, and other statutory reports in compliance with Bangladesh laws.
Coordinate internal and external audits by preparing schedules and supporting documentation.
Process payroll-related accounting entries and support salary reconciliation.
Coordinate with banks regarding LC documentation, deposits, fund transfers, other banking activities.
Ensure compliance with company financial policies, internal controls, and applicable accounting standards.
Generate ERP-based MIS reports and provide financial analysis to support management decision-making.
Assist management with cost control, profitability analysis, and working capital management.
Perform any other Accounts & Finance-related duties assigned by management.
Educational Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree (BBA/B. Com/MBA/M. Com) in Accounting, Finance, Cost & Management Accounting, or a related discipline.
Candidates with CA-CC, Part-qualified CA, ACCA, CMA, or other equivalent professional accounting qualifications will be given preference.
Experience Requirements
3–5 years of experience in Accounts & Finance.
Experience in FMCG, Soap, Detergent, Cosmetics, Manufacturing, or Consumer Goods industries will be preferred.
Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as Odoo, SAP, ERPNext, Oracle, QuickBooks, or similar accounting software.
Candidates demonstrating advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, Power Query, financial modeling, dashboards, and automation) will receive strong preference.
Additional Requirements
Sound knowledge of VAT, Income Tax, TDS, and statutory compliance requirements in Bangladesh.
Strong understanding of inventory accounting, manufacturing accounting, cost accounting, and product costing.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple assignments, and consistently meet reporting deadlines.
