Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor degree in any discipline
∎ Bachelor's from a reputed institution of Bangladesh
Experience Requirements:
∎ At most 3 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensuring 100% implementation of buyer's COC, Labor Law 2006 and Labor Rules (Srom Bidhimala).
∎ Ensuring the factories always prepared/ready for following audits like, Social compliance Audit, technical/Quality Assurance Audit & Security System Audit (CTPAT), FCCA, SCS, GSV etc.
∎ Has to be well conversant regarding Accord & Alliance compliance requirement of electrical, fire protection/detection/SLD/LPS and Building code.
∎ Ensuring Compliance on Health & Safety as per in house check list
∎ Ensuring Non-Discrimination in course of employment, paying/providing wages/salary/benefits/ facilities/welfare.
∎ Ensuring that Employment of No Child/Child Looking Workers are in practice
∎ Ensuring Access/Right to Inspection during buyer's Audits.
∎ Ensuring Compliance related MIS are properly maintain, update
∎ Follow up / take instant corrective action on auditors certain minor findings /discrepancies during audit.
∎ Follow up that all corrective action has been taken/follow up; regularly as per CAP submitted.
∎ Follow up all data, records, reports, formats, statement, rank & files, Books & Registers of all departments are properly prepared, issued, update & maintained as per compliance requirement/standards.
∎ Liaison with merchandising, Production and QA Department in order to coordinate with Buyers visits and take all necessary steps for facing the buyers/ Govt. and compliance visit and audit.
∎ To lead, direct, control, motivate, appraise & trained-up fellow staffs
Additional Requirements:
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Must be fluent in English & Bengali.
∎ Other necessary jobs as and when required by the company management.
∎ Ensure fire safety for the workplace & factory area.
∎ Assist to check all fire equipment's on regular basis and to take appropriate maintenance measures for those equipment's.
∎ Conduct fire drill monthly & giving training to the worker & staff.
∎ Regular / weekly fire training with fire safety team & general workers.
∎ Assist to conduct the fire and emergency evacuation drill as per policy to aware all workers / staffs during any fire or emergency incident.
∎ Assist to make layout plan and fixing the fire fighting equipment's in proper locations depending on areas, machines and goods in an acceptable standard.
∎ Assist to identify the fire hazards areas and to take proper preventive measures on priority basis.
∎ Assist to monitor / supervise the electrical / power cables / loose wires properly and to take remedial measures immediately.
∎ To check machine maintenance and fire related books, registers, logs etc. correctly on a short schedule basis.
∎ To take initiatives for cleaning fire originated areas like cable trays / spider nets / dust remaining areas in coordination with the respective admin team.
Salary: Negotiable
