Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor/Masters degree in any discipline from any recognized university with minimum second class/division or equivalent GPA/CGPA in all academic examinations.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At most 1 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Responsible for conducting safety audits.
∎ Follow-up with other relevant sectors.
∎ Conduct safety mapping with women and girls.
∎ Support volunteer outreach team.
∎ Hold GBV information and awareness sessions though activities.
∎ Establish and support community-based safety groups, as needed.
∎ Ensure data collection, conducting surveys, submitting progress reports.
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation.
∎ Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 18 years
∎ Minimum 6 months to 1 year experience in complex humanitarian environments.
∎ Experience in working with multi-disciplinary team in a cross-culture setting.
∎ Strong livelihood, cash programming and emergency response in working in complex, protracted emergencies in a challenging work environment.
∎ Knowledge of humanitarian principles, standards and system.
∎ Knowledge of humanitarian principles, standards and system.
∎ Teamwork spirit and community mobilization skills.
∎ Good communication skills.
