Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor degree in any discipline
∎ Diploma/ Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, EEE or any other relevant subject from any recognized university.

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 2 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Electrical Maintenance, General Food Assistance
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): NGO

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Responsible for general maintenance, servicing, and repair of diesel driven generating sets, diesel generator control systems as well as other electrical systems related to light and mechanical equipment.
∎ Carry out scheduled and routine maintenance, emergency repairs and overhaul of the generator.
∎ Responsible for applying engineering standards and practices in the repairs and maintenance of the generator.
∎ Responsible for the safe and efficient use of tools and specialized equipment.
∎ Routinely inspecting and replacing old wiring and insulated cables, cleaning circuits etc. Perform effective troubleshooting to identify hazards or malfunctions and repair or substitute damaged units.
∎ Prepare material specifications for the purpose of raising requisitions; Provide lists of spare parts for diesel engines, alternators, and control panels as well as necessary tools and equipment.
∎ Maintain logbooks, maintenance records and spare parts’ consumption records.
∎ Liaise with WFP Technical Unit supervisor for expert advice on generator works and the Maintenance Unit supervisor for electrical matters.
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme's goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
