Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor degree in any discipline
∎ Preferably Textile Engineer / Industrial Engineer or Equivalent.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 12 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
2 years of experience on similar field.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Follow-up overall production activities, planning, monitoring, and shipment etc.
∎ Responsible for driving the production plan along with Industrial Engineering (IE) Merchandising & Production team.
∎ Responsible for solving technical issues in pre-production and after-production activities;
∎ Improve quality management system;
∎ Design and implement suitable management information reports with plans and generally accepted benchmarks
∎ Ensure that budgetary controls are established in all cost centers and profitability is achieved.
∎ Take necessary steps to minimize wastage and loss in all operating areas.
∎ Capability to solve all types of technical issues related to sample, size set, bulk production etc.
∎ Communicate with designers, sample dept., expose unit, coordinators & merchant team for development issues.
∎ Ensure sample development, plan and delivery.
∎ Ensures adequate motivation and retention of all employees reporting to the position
∎ Responsible for analyzing the worker's performance and review operator skill level and ensure corrective action to train potential worker.
∎ Must be practical and implement IE concepts and to improve productivity.
∎ To co-ordinate with Production department for improving their working procedures
∎ Ensure optimum utilization of man and machine.
∎ To review production plan with capacity & strength.
∎ Ensure line balancing as per layout, time and motion study for all styles,
∎ To evaluate and assess weekly machine & manpower requirement.
∎ To help achieve the daily planned target.
∎ Ensure shipments with zero defects;
∎ Lead production team to achieve the target deadlines;
∎ Ensure on-time delivery of orders;
∎ To ensure safety & security issues of the factory and floor plans of the production;
∎ Analyze production cost, cost control and cost reduction in an effective and efficient manner;
∎ Provide guidance to ensure the smooth and cost-effective functioning of all site facilities.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 35 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Good Communication skills in both English and Bengali
∎ Good leadership ability to lead & motivate the subordinates
∎ Able to work under pressure and complete the task within a preset time-frame
∎ Excellent in inter-personal & communication skills
∎ Good team player, well-organized, initiative and detail-oriented
