• MBA / Masters / B.Sc. in Textile Engineering from any reputed university.

• Age 28 to 35 years

• Strong knowledge of product development, fabrics, costing, and buyer handling for international markets.

• Awareness of global retail marketing trends and consumer behavior is an advantage.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and follow-up skills.

• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple export-related tasks.

• Manage end-to-end merchandising activities from order confirmation to shipment.

• Coordinate with buyers/brands regarding product development, costing, sampling, approvals, and order execution.

• Prepare accurate costing and price negotiation in line with buyer requirements and company margin targets.

• Ensure timely development and approval of samples (fit, size set, PP, pre-shipment).

• Coordinate closely with production, planning, IE, QA, commercial, and procurement teams to ensure smooth order execution.

• Monitor T&A (Time & Action) calendar and ensure all milestones are met on time.

• Ensure fabric, trims, and accessories are sourced and approved as per buyer specifications.

• Track production status and proactively resolve issues related to quality, capacity, or delivery delays.

• Maintain compliance with buyer standards, quality requirements, and ethical practices.

• Ensure proper documentation and order files are maintained accurately.

• Communicate shipment details and ensure on-time delivery as per confirmed ETD.

• Handle buyer claims, feedback, and corrective actions professionally.

• Guide and supervise Jr. Merchandisers / Merchandisers, ensuring team efficiency and development.

• Prepare and submit regular order status reports to management.

• Maintain strong professional relationships with buyers and internal stakeholders.
