Education:
∎ Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), Master of Business Administration (MBA)
∎ Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering, Fashion Merchandising, Business Administration, or a related field. An advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) is highly preferred.

∎ Industry Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience in fabric merchandising, sales, or marketing within the textile manufacturing sector, with a strong focus on both knit and woven fabrics.
∎ Expertise in Fabric Qualities: Deep understanding of knit and woven fabric properties, applications, and production techniques, enabling effective consultation and material selection.
∎ Merchandising Proficiency: Proven track record in developing and implementing successful fabric merchandising strategies that enhance product visibility and drive customer engagement.
∎ Product Development Collaboration: Experience in working closely with design and development teams to create innovative fabric collections that meet market demands and reflect current trends.
∎ Sales & Marketing Acumen: Strong background in sales and marketing principles, with a history of creating and executing impactful marketing campaigns that successfully promote fabric products.
∎ Costing and Pricing Expertise: Skilled in conducting thorough costing analyses and formulating competitive pricing strategies that ensure profitability while delivering value to customers.
∎ Exceptional Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, capable of clearly articulating fabric features and benefits to clients, internal teams, and stakeholders.
∎ Sales and Negotiation Skills: Proven success in engaging clients and closing high-value sales, with strong negotiation skills that foster long-term partnerships.
∎ Product Marketing Knowledge: Familiarity with product marketing strategies, including market positioning and promotional tactics that effectively highlight product advantages.
∎ Order Management and Confirmation: Competence in overseeing the order confirmation process, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in fulfilling customer requests while maintaining effective communication.
∎ Leadership and Mentorship: Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and inspire team members, promoting a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

∎ Fabric Expertise and Quality Evaluation: Leverage your deep understanding of knit and woven fabric qualities to select and recommend the most suitable materials, ensuring they meet both customer specifications and industry standards.
∎ Dynamic Fabric Merchandising: Develop and execute innovative merchandising strategies that enhance the presentation of our fabric collections, driving customer interest and increasing product visibility in the market.
∎ Collaborative Product Development: Partner with design and development teams to create and refine fabric collections, incorporating market insights and customer feedback to ensure our offerings are both innovative and appealing.
∎ Sales and Marketing Synergy: Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to craft compelling promotional materials and campaigns that effectively communicate the unique benefits and features of our fabrics.
∎ Costing and Pricing Analysis: Conduct thorough costing analysis to develop competitive pricing strategies, ensuring profitability while providing value to customers and staying aligned with market trends.
∎ Effective Communication: Serve as a primary point of contact for clients and internal teams, articulating fabric qualities and benefits clearly, addressing inquiries promptly, and fostering strong relationships through exceptional customer service.
∎ Active Selling and Product Marketing: Engage directly in selling activities, utilizing your expertise to educate clients about our fabric offerings, drive sales growth, and develop targeted marketing strategies that highlight product advantages.
∎ Order Confirmation and Management: Oversee the order confirmation process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in fulfilling customer requests while maintaining clear communication throughout the order lifecycle.
∎ Market Research and Trend Analysis: Stay ahead of industry trends and competitor activities through continuous market research, using insights to inform merchandising strategies and enhance product positioning.
