Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
5+ years of hands-on experience in network systems, system support, or similar roles.
Certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Network+ are preferred.
Responsibilities & Context:
Network Management: Design, configure, and maintain LAN, WAN, wireless networks, video surveillance systems, IP PABX, and related infrastructure.
Device Installation & Support: Install, troubleshoot, and support routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices.
Cybersecurity: Implement and manage security protocols, including antivirus software, firewalls, and access controls, to protect IT systems.
Performance Monitoring: Proactively monitor network performance, ensure 24/7 system availability, and resolve outages promptly.
Documentation: Maintain detailed records of network architecture, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures.
Disaster Recovery: Support backup procedures and disaster recovery plans for network infrastructure.
User Support: Provide day-to-day technical assistance to end-users, diagnose hardware/software/network issues, and escalate complex problems as needed.
Collaboration: Work with departments to identify technological needs and deliver tailored IT solutions.
Other: Perform any other departmental tasks assigned by the Supervisor.
