Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor's degree in any discipline
∎ Fire Safety Manager Course (Six months) from the Fire service & Civil Defense Department is preferable.
Experience Requirements:
∎ 3 to 4 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Compliance, Fire and Safety, Fire Protection and Detection System, Fire Safety Audit, Fire safety Management
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Garments, Group of Companies, Textile
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensure fire safety for the workplace & building
∎ Daily fire equipment check & maintain needful action
∎ Conduct fire drill as required
∎ Conduct regular fire training with the fire safety team & general workers
∎ Daily floor visit to ensure floor compliance and follow up daily compliance checklist given by the higher authority of compliance department
∎ Ensure workers who are working with machines and in chemical stores are well equipped with personal safety equipment like mask, metal gloves, eye guard, needle guard, pulley cover, goggles, earplug, gumboot, rubber apron and other necessary tools
∎ Conduct awareness programs on safety rules and regulations, compliance & welfare issues, health, hygiene, first aid, etc.
∎ Ensure Internal & External Audit related documents & reports
∎ Ensure re-filling of Fire Extinguishers
∎ Investigate and report on accidents & related incidents and recommend necessary changes.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 26 to 30 years
∎ Must have working experience in fire & safety area with large composite factory
∎ Positive work ethics and result-oriented for assigned responsibilities.
∎ Ability to maintain good interpersonal relationships and good teamwork.
∎ Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
