Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Naval Architecture & Marine Engineering / Mechanical Engineering

Experience Requirements:
∎ 5 to 10 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Engineering

Job Context:
∎ - Strong knowledge of Estimation practices and techniques
∎ - Strong knowledge of general repair, outfitting and fabrication operations and services, mechanical and electrical engineering, hull coating and steel repairs.
∎ - 5-10 years in estimation & invoicing in Overseas Shipyards.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ To Prepare marine and non-marine tenders and cost estimates.
∎ To review, inspect, clarify, interpret and develop detailed scope of work for every project/job being enquired by the client.
∎ Preparation of quotations based on client’s specifications, to go the the sites/ vessels for getting the feel of the job prior to preparing quotes. Preparing technical tender specifications and forward to Manager - Estimation & Invoicing.
∎ On-board work follow up & preparation of additional quotes/ Invoicing on daily basis.
∎ Finalization of repair with owner prior to departure of vessel.
∎ To coordinate with other departments within the Company for issues relating to all kinds of resource plans for cost estimation of jobs.
∎ Coordinate with the sales team to meet the customer expectation.
∎ Prepare draft invoice with details pertaining to quoted prices, actual booking cost, cost incurred and forward to Manager - Estimation & Invoicing.
∎ Perform any other duties assigned by Manager - Estimation & Invoice and V.P. - shipyard.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 28 to 35 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Strong Knowledge of Estimation Practices and Techniques and Strong Knowledge of General repair, Outfitting, Fabrications Operations and services & Steel repairs.
∎ Duty Times: 8 Hours

Salary: Negotiable
