∎ JOB PURPOSE: To ensure high quality of water sanitation and hygiene (WASH) services by leading and following leadership of diverse workforce at different levels by meeting indicators and objectives and ensure effective service delivery in assigned areas.
∎ SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES
∎ To ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme`s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ To practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ To follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ To make a structured activity plan (AOP) with specific and regular micro level implementation plan and take initiative for implementing those plans.
∎ To Assess community need on willingness to pay with ability, indigenous knowledge/perception and practice/culture for ensuring comparatively better WASH services.
∎ To organize workshops, seminars and forum to share programme activities and capacity development for programme sustainability.
∎ To communicate and coordinate with inter and or intra-departmental officials to exchange the knowledge for better performances of both programmes
∎ To follow up and monitor the regular activities of WASH programme with various hardware support.
∎ To collaborate closely with the local government administration and department of public health engineering at district level/upazila/pourashava level to avoid overlapping hardware support and share the programme activities.
∎ To follow up of the activities of respective programme staff and give them direction to achieve the target with good quality.
∎ To prepare daily/ monthly/periodically report as per needed and maintain records of all related activities & keeping track related organizations.
∎ To ensure feedback mechanism of related shareholders specially programme participants
Additional Requirements:
∎ Fluency in computer literateracy (i.e. Google Suite, MS Office, Internet surfing)
∎ Excellent in presentation and communication skills (Both verbal and written in Bangla and English)
∎ Strong Negotiation skills ,excellent in collaboration & partnering
∎ Knowledge on development and WASH Sector
∎ Understanding of community-based approaches, financial management and revolving fund
∎ Minimum Four years of working experience in relevant field
