Requirements:
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Understand the needs of customers and designers to provide design and development services using CAD to meet their requirements.
∎ Possesses strong proficiency in virtual sample creation (Apex Shima-Seiki), knitwear programming, simulation, virtual yarn creation, and Microsoft Office applications.
∎ Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and maintain a high attention to detail.
∎ Knowledge of pattern making, design, and sweater manufacturing processes.
∎ Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
∎ Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or textile engineering or a Diploma in the related field.3 to 5 years of relevant experience.
∎ Proficient in the use of SHIMA SEIKI SDS-ONE APEX 3 or 4 and APEXFiz software.
∎ Knowledge of Shima Seiki knit programming and machine operating.
∎ Comprehensive understanding of virtual sampling and strong knowledge of the garment production process and knitwear machinery.
∎ Strong expertise in knit chart reading and chart making.
∎ Knowledge of virtual loop simulation and virtual yarn creation is required.
∎ Knowledge of Knitting machine, gauge, structure, type of yarn as well as yarn composition.
∎ Basic knowledge of 2D patterns.
∎ Excellent communication skills.
