Responsibilities & Context: Marketing & Business Development:
- Explore and expand new markets for Readymade Garments (RMG) in international regions such as Europe, America, the Middle East, and Asia.
- Establish and enhance business relationships with foreign buyers and buying houses for various apparel items including Shirts, Pants, T-Shirts, Knits, Sweaters, Pajama-Panjabi, Tupi (Cap), Jaynamaz (Prayer Rug), Lungi, Sharee and others. Identify new export opportunities and formulate competitive strategies.
Buyer Management:
- Maintain regular communication with foreign buyers, ensuring sampling, price offers, and finalization of orders as per their requirements.
- Confirm contracts, price quotations, production schedules, and delivery deadlines. Resolve buyer complaints and feedback promptly to sustain long-term business relationships.
Coordination in Production & Quality Control:
- Coordinate with the production team to ensure product quality as per buyer specifications.
- Ensure timely production, packaging, and export shipment.
- Monitor progress in compliance with international standards, rules, and regulations.
Sales Target & Budget Management:
- Develop and implement effective plans to achieve the company’s sales targets.
- Prepare annual/quarterly marketing plans and budgets and ensure proper utilization. Conduct market analysis and monitor competitors’ strategies.
Team Leadership & Training:
- Lead the Marketing and Merchandising team, providing guidance and training to enhance their efficiency.
- Promote goal-oriented teamwork, monitor performance, and maintain team motivation.
Administrative & Other Responsibilities:
- Provide regular reports to higher management.
- Maintain confidentiality while complying with company policies, rules, and regulations. Ensure adherence to government and international regulations related to exports.
