∎ Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Textile Technology
Requirements:
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Devising and establishing a company's quality procedures, standards and specifications.
∎ Reviewing customer requirements and make sure they meet the standards for quality.
∎ To reduce waste and increase efficiency.
∎ To define quality procedures in conjunction with operating staff.
∎ Set up and maintain controls and documentation procedures.
∎ Monitor performance by gathering relevant data and producing statistical reports.
∎ Make suggestions for changes and improvements and how to implement them.
∎ Use relevant quality tools and make sure managers and other staff understand how to improve the business.
∎ Make sure the company is working as effectively as possible to keep up with competitors.
∎ Full responsibility for quality function within the location through the entire manufacturing process including incoming, in process, finished goods inspection, and testing.
∎ Plan, promote, and organize training activities related to product quality and reliability.
∎ Develop and maintain quality assurance objectives and coordinates objectives with production procedures in cooperation with the Production Department.
∎ Develop and analyze statistical data and product specifications to determine present standards and establish proposed quality and reliability expectancy of finished products
