Educational Requirements:
∎ A Bachelor Degree (preferably in Fashion Design or Fine Arts) from any reputed university
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Design creative products and develop the assigned product line as required
∎ Source fabric and accessories to make proper sample keeping brands perception, costing guidelines, themes and timelines in mind
∎ Contribute to yearly design planning by making relevant themes, mood boards, story boards, color chart and presentations
∎ Help in vendor development processes and contribute to sales for target achievement
∎ Monitor sales status to ensure future need and demand of the customers
∎ Visit production centers (Ayesha Abed Foundation (AAF) and Independent Producers) for sample generating
∎ Responsible for utilization of stock fabric, trims and accessories in processing store and timely credit clearance
∎ Approve samples from pre-production section and ensure delivery of the samples maintaining the standard procedure
Additional Requirements:
∎ 0-3 years of experience in Fashion/ Product design in a commercial organization
∎ Knowledge of fabric, patterns, embroideries, dye and prints
∎ Ability to anticipate change in fashion trends for fashion forecasting
∎ Sense of style, fashion, fabric, color and technical aspects
∎ Expertise in Photoshop, Illustrator and other design tools
∎ Analytical ability, creativity for innovative design and conceptualization
