Key Responsibilities

• Develop creative, trend-driven active-wear and western clothing designs and seasonal collections aligned with brand and market requirements.

• Research and interpret fashion trends, forecasts, and market data to inform seasonal design direction.

• Apply strong knowledge of garment construction, fabrics, cutting, and pattern development to ensure proper fit and production feasibility.

• Prepare and manage detailed Tech Packs, including measurements, fabrics, trims, stitching, and finishing guidelines.

• Source fabrics, trims, and accessories while maintaining vendor relationships and ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery.

• Evaluate fabric quality, hand-feel, drape, and suitability for specific garment styles and production methods.

• Support sampling, fittings, PP approvals, and timeline management.

• Prepare, monitor, and submit costing of goods while staying updated on fashion trends and sourcing markets.

Technical Skills

• Strong understanding of garment construction, including pattern making, draping, and sewing techniques.

• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator for technical flats and Adobe Photoshop for textile prints and design work.

• Skilled in preparing Technical Packs (Tech Packs) with accurate measurements, fabric details, trims, and stitching instructions.

• Good knowledge of fabrics, including hand-feel, drape, weight, and behaviour of knits and woven fabrics during production.

• Solid understanding of fabric sourcing processes, vendor evaluation, and cost negotiation.
