Responsibilities & Context:
∎ 1. Ensure knit fabric quality during the development and production stage and provide technical solutions to the merchandiser team.
∎ 2. Secure knit fabric in development and production.
∎ 3. Highly experienced in knit fabric manufacturing/production process.
∎ 4. Make technical judgments on Fabric Technical Data and fabric hangers.
∎ 5. Be part of the commercial decision-making from the technical fabric perspective.
∎ 6. Follow up Fabric Technical Data to ensure that it is aligned with sample yardage test results.
∎ 7. Always Follow up Fabric Control, Costing Target setting and Production Line balance.
∎ 8. Differentiate the Fabrics as per Quality segregation.
∎ 9. Receive & consume the Fabrics/ Rib and others items from the Store as per approved Consumption to ensure right fabric for cutting.
∎ 10. Ensure enough stock in input for continuous feeding to the sewing line.
∎ 11. Ensure the Relax as per type of Fabrics.
∎ 12. Fabrics Consumption shall be within the Plan' if Cross then take approval from Superior.
∎ 13. Keep Liaison with concern Merchandiser/ PM/ Quality Manager/ Factory Head others for Day to Day work.
∎ 14. Able to calculate fabric consumption and component usage.
∎ 15. Should have technical knowledge in knit fabrics production.
∎ 16. Knowledge & Experience for Printing reactive, pigment and discharge.
∎ 17. Monitor and control printing fabric production at outside facility.
∎ 18. New product development as per Buyer's requirement.
