∎ JOB PURPOSE: Support and maintain internal and external communications with project collaborators, implementing agencies, service providers and assist to execute the communications strategy, maintain project documentation. Build and maintain partnership with internal and external stakeholders for emergency support to the climate migrant
∎ SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme`s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Prepare and submit project reports to supervisor as stipulated in coordination with the respective implementation team
∎ Develop a database on the different projects of BRAC funded by the Climate Bridge Fund (CBF) for emergency project window
∎ Helping the Project Results Framework team for collecting the data from other programme and prepare the draft periodical organizational report on climate change Indicators under the Project Results Framework, in coordination with BMD and other BRAC programmes
∎ Develop concept note, draft proposal and report and other project or programme related documents
∎ Maintain, establish and search scope for communication and internal/external networking for programme/project visibility
∎ Prepare draft report on KFW status, NGO data base and other related issues
∎ Support the CCP team to apply to calls for accessing available global funds with focus on Climate Change
∎ Coordinating, planning and routine keeping of programme activities
∎ Assist Programme Manager, Programme Head and Director in networking and collaboration
Additional Requirements:
∎ Competence in IT (MS Word, Excel, Power Point, internet, Illustrator, SketchUp etc.)
∎ Integrity & high standards of personal conduct
∎ Knowledge on climate change science, mitigation and adaptation
∎ Strong interpersonal and communication skills
∎ Patient and supportive
∎ Proactive, highly motivated and able to use initiative to a significant degree
∎ Ability to think strategically and carry out assigned tasks independently
∎ Ability to communicate verbally and in written to both programme and non- programme staff
∎ Strong analytical skill
∎ Minimum 3 years of working experience in relevant field
