Merchandising & Product Development
Develop, manage, and execute all accessories items from concept to shipment.
Coordinate with buyers for sample development, fabric shades, quality requirements, test parameters, and approval processes.
Work closely with suppliers/factories to ensure accurate materials, pricing, lead times, and technical specifications.
Prepare costing sheets, negotiate prices, and confirm orders with suppliers.
Follow up on sample submissions (development, PP samples, shipment samples).
Maintain order sheets, BOM/trim cards, and all merchandising documentation.
Communicate with internal teams (Production, QA, Logistics) for smooth order execution.
Ensure all accessories meet required quality standards before shipment.
Maintain updated vendor/material databases and build strong supplier relationships.
Marketing & Sales
Lead and guide the marketing team to achieve monthly sales targets.
Conduct marketing visits to garment factories at least three days per week using company vehicle.
Develop new customers and maintain strong relationships with buyers, buying houses, and garment merchandisers.
Work on nominated accessories based on buyer approvals in coordination with other factory merchandisers.
Ensure continuous follow-up with customers to secure orders and maintain growth.
Relationship Management
Maintain close communication with buyer teams, garment factory merchandisers, and suppliers.
Build strong professional rapport to support approvals, sampling, and order execution.
Represent the company professionally during factory visits and buyer meetings.
