Job Context:
∎ This role is responsible for providing support in preparing materials and ensuring operations of the field activities regarding projects on improving mental health under HNPP.
∎ Location: Badda, Gulshan, Dhaka.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Provide technical support in designing, implementation and monitoring of the pilot project
∎ Develop training materials and modules, and conduct training for the frontliners and Para-counsellors
∎ Supervise para-counsellors, and ensure quality of service
∎ Maintain liaison/coordination with Government and other relevant stakeholders
∎ Help in strategic decision making to improve the programme
∎ Provide necessary support to the Programme Manager, Clinical Psychology in project development & proposal writing
∎ Conduct staff meeting at working area for performance review and provide guidance inputs for optimum achievement
∎ Monitor performance of Para-counsellors and design competency based training to improve capacity and competency through mentoring, coaching and on-the-job training as and when required
∎ Coordinate with different departments of BRAC, e.g. MIS & Monitoring unit of HNPP, Finance & Accounts, Procurement, HRD, BLD, Monitoring & Investigation and Audit
∎ Prepare reports as required by the programme/ donors.
∎ SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES: Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme's goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
