∎ JOB PURPOSE: The purpose of Deputy Manager, Material Development in GJD is to design communication material, especially focusing on gender mainstreaming issues and disseminating in different channels. Also contribute to gathering knowledge and share experience and reflections of knowledge in future interventions as required.
∎ Location: BRAC Head Office
Job Responsibilities:
∎ The major role of this position is to design the communication material within stipulated time ensuring BRAC branding guidelines.
∎ Promptly generate the idea of IEC/BCC materials in the context of PEDs and share it with the gender mainstreaming unit.
∎ Undertake to learn from field visits to different BRAC PEDs platforms and capture the knowledge for generating materials.
∎ Produce different event reports on various thematic issues related to Gender Equality and Women Empowerment (GEWE).
∎ Support for dissemination/publication of knowledge products/ lesson leaned documents/best practices in public spaces such as websites, blogs, and other media.
∎ Mapping of GM thematic issues for collecting case stories from the field and regularly visiting to the respective field to furnish the case story and sharing.
∎ Promptly knock to respective focal for update archive once a month.
∎ Taking notes from different meetings of GJD and finalize it after compile of feedback/comments.
∎ Any tasks relevant to GJD's goal & objectives as required are ready to do.
∎ SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme's goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 03 years of experience in relevant field.
∎ Sound knowledge on content design & develop.
∎ Familiar with the gender and development issues in the context of Bangladesh.
∎ Understanding of project management in development sectors.
∎ Good writing skills both in Bengali and English.
