Job Context:
∎ We are looking for a results-driven Deputy Manager / Manager for our Server, Storage & Backup Systems portfolio and to optimize our company`s footprint in the server, storage, and back systems domain. The manager will be leading the deployment of various server, storage, and back systems projects in our premises and in various customer locations.
∎ To ensure success as a Deputy Manager / Manager - Server, Storage & Backup Systems, the applicant should exhibit sound knowledge of windows servers, Linux servers, Cisco and other OEM servers, various storage solutions, and backup systems. An accomplished VMware engineer will be someone whose expertise results in the successful integration of VMware products across multiple data centers.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Lead, manage, and/or coordinate with stakeholders for server, storage, and virtualization project implementation and Customer support services.
∎ Ensures continuity of operational support for all services provided by the team with Windows Server, Unix (Linux/Solaris) Server, Central Storage (EMC/NetApp), and Backup systems. Also support for various internal or external applications.
∎ Assist customers to understand the latest technologies and technical capabilities through technical presentation, demonstration, and PoC, along with distributors and OEM.
∎ Ensure the customer Support Services and deliver the new Project implementation.
∎ As an added responsibility, optimize network hardware and software to enable VMware integration.
∎ Virtualizing Windows servers and connecting them to networks and clouds.
∎ Installing operating systems and service packs, as well as security patches and bug fixes.
∎ Keeping informed of developments in VMware technologies and products.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 24 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ In-depth knowledge of Installation and configuration and maintain the support services on various OEM’s enterprise server infrastructure, SAN storage and SAN switches.
∎ In-depth knowledge of Deployment and configuration of various appliances and engineering systems such as Dell Appliances, Oracle Engineering system, HP Appliances, etc.
∎ Ability to work on Operating system Installation, configuration & troubleshooting (Sun Solaris, RHEL, MS Windows).
∎ In depth knowledge of deployment of various backup infrastructure
∎ Ability to work on Project Implementation for Virtualization platforms.
∎ Exceptional analytical and technical aptitude.
∎ Great organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
∎ Availability to work under pressure and resolve issues during emergency situations outside of business hours.
