Educational Requirements:
∎ MBA or Equivalent in Marketing/Management/Accounting/Finance from any recognized and reputed university.

Experience Requirements:
∎ 7 to 10 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Understanding PPR (Public Procurement regulations)
∎ Understanding of public procurement procedures, terms and conditions set in local as well international tenders
∎ Understanding IDA and ADB standard bidding documents and procurement procedures
∎ Understanding IDB, JICA and other foreign added procurement procedures
∎ Abilities to raise bids independently in line with tender requirements
∎ Good knowledge in foreign aided projects
∎ Having contacts with and easy access to prospects i.e. tender authorities at ministries, departments and developmental projects
∎ Willingness to undertake extensive visits to prospects to explore new tender opportunities
∎ Experience in managing and resolving issues / disputes while concluding contractual obligations
∎ Ability to undertake tours to project locations
∎ Ability to professionally communicate in English with feign principals
∎ Knowledge in import procedures and understanding terms of letter of credit, customs clearance, import tariffs, incoterms
∎ Reviews each call for tender in detail with the responsible sales person to determine a response strategy, which includes scope of delivery, pricing and delivery timelines.
∎ Provides all necessary project management skills to coordinate the work of all departments needed for the timely delivery of complete and successful tender responses.
∎ Collaborates with the technical tender managers and the sales team to assemble complete proposals and support during contract negotiations.
∎ Conducts and documents regular win/lost meetings after each customer decision.
∎ Develop business/sales strategy and account plan for priority accounts that ensures the achievement of sales and profit targets within set budgets
∎ Prepare and execute strategic meetings with important decision makers.
∎ Effectively manage the opportunity pipeline in order to reliably predict revenue
∎ Keep Management and Marketing informed of development of opportunities and accounts including market trends and competitor issues
∎ Build long-term strategic relationships and partnerships with customers to grow business and gain market share
∎ Support with data to forecasting and budget process
∎ Lead the tender process – setting up and follow-up on tender project plan, drive tender opportunities, get commitment and maximize tender outcome
∎ Use all available internal resources to ensure customer satisfaction
∎ Ensure all administration is comprehensive and completed on time

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 50 years
∎ 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
∎ Track records of winning contracts and successful conclusion thereof
∎ The candidate must be smart, dedicated and well organized, proactive with sense of priority in completing the tasks assigned.
∎ Must be able to professionally communicate with Principals, negotiate terms and price
∎ Excellent interpersonal skill, communication ability, energetic and confident.
∎ Good command over spoken and written English.
∎ Good communication, drafting and reporting skills.
∎ Good command in Computer operating, especially MS word, Excel, Power point, office outlook & Internet.

Salary: Negotiable
