Responsibilities & Context:
Supervise and manage procurement schedules to ensure uninterrupted supply chain operations.
Analyze and verify departmental purchase requisitions and confirm technical specifications before sourcing.
Procure machinery, spare parts, and technical services from local and international markets.
Prepare and issue RFQs (Request for Quotation) to approved and potential vendors.
Conduct commercial and technical comparative statement analysis.
Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and commercial conditions to ensure cost efficiency.
Evaluate existing vendors based on quality, cost, delivery, and compliance performance.
Develop and onboard new vendors to strengthen sourcing capability and reduce supply risk.
Coordinate with engineering, production, and other departments to align procurement with operational requirements.
Manage overseas communication with international suppliers and service providers.
Ensure timely procurement of maintenance materials and emergency spare parts.
Monitor procurement lead time and ensure on-time material availability.
Maintain proper documentation, approval workflow, and audit-ready procurement records.
Assist Division Head in procurement planning, budgeting, and strategic sourcing initiatives.
Prepare departmental reports on procurement performance, cost savings, and vendor development.
Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and applicable regulatory requirements.
