B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Environmental Engineering / Chemical Engineering / Chemistry

• 5 to 6 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Textile

• 5 to 6 years of practical experience in Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) operations within a denim manufacturing industry.

• Knowledge of ZDHC / HIGG / ISO 14001 requirements

1. Operate and monitor the Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) efficiently.

2. Ensure proper treatment of industrial wastewater before discharge.

3. Monitor influent and effluent water quality parameters regularly.

4. Maintain proper chemical dosing and treatment process control.

5. Ensure compliance with environmental laws, DoE requirements, and buyer standards.

6. Conduct testing of pH, TDS, COD, BOD, DO, color, and turbidity.

7. Ensure Maintaining of daily operation logs, laboratory reports, and compliance records.

8. Monitor consumption of chemicals and maintain stock records.

9. Coordinate preventive and breakdown maintenance of ETP equipment.

10. Supervise pumps, blowers, agitators, clarifiers, filter press, and related machinery.

11. Ensure uninterrupted operation of the ETP system.

12. Identify operational abnormalities and take corrective actions.

13. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly ETP performance reports.

14. Coordinate with Compliance, Production, Maintenance, and Utility departments.

15. Assist during environmental audits and inspections.

16. Ensure safe handling and storage of ETP chemicals.

17. Monitor sludge handling and disposal activities properly.

18. Maintain housekeeping and safety standards in the ETP area.

19. Supervise ETP operators, helpers, and supporting staff.

20. Train workers on ETP operational and safety procedures.

21. Support water recycling and sustainability initiatives.

22. Ensure optimum utilization of utilities and operational resources.

23. Follow organizational policies, SOPs, and environmental procedures.

24. Perform any other duties assigned by management related to ETP operations.
