Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor in Disaster Management, Environment, Economics, English, Business studies, social science, communication and information management or any discipline from any recognized university.

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 2 year(s)

Job Context:
∎ The position will implement the programmatic learning and knowledge in collaboration with others units, departments and programmes. S/he will work for evidence-based knowledge products development and dissemination at national platforms.
∎ Location: Head Office

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Develop research proposal and implement new projects that can improve efficiency of the programme through the use of information systems
∎ Ensure the promotion of learning and knowledge sharing through different communication channels, campaign, workshop, events, online offline media, social media, community-based forum, internet-based solutions and e-learning
∎ Coordinate all database issues and produce materials supporting evidence-based decision-making, including data analysis and visualisation products for proposals, contracted delivery and learning events and work with response team on the ground to ensure the flow of information and detection of people at risk through create geotagging and hash tags
∎ To manage and share best practices within the programmes and projects and share with stakeholders, in collaboration with the communications and advocacy teams
∎ Collaboration with in-country, global and regional experts within and outside the organization, develop standard methodologies and online/offline tools to collect information, filter, process and disseminate knowledge that are relevant to Humanitarian Programme
∎ Network development with knowledge-based organisation platform and forums
∎ SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES: Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme's goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Competency on Word-processing, email and file management
∎ Sourcing information using the web and/or web-based databases
∎ ICT skills-PowerPoint, MiniTab, Nvivo, Knowledge Tree
∎ Economic and financial analysis
∎ Statistical and qualitative data analysis- SPSS/STATA/Atlas software application
∎ Good written and oral communication skills
∎ Ability to contribute effectively as part of a team, flexibility and multi-tasking
∎ General principles and specific applications of the organisation of information
∎ General understanding of the principles of data analysis and relational databases in particular
∎ Online data repositories and content management systems
∎ Supporting the knowledge management needs of a small research related organisation and resources (journals, knowledge archieve, resources etc)
∎ Project based impact assessment and outcome-based evaluation
∎ Database layout and analysis framework development
∎ Dealing with complex environment ability to solve them
∎ Accountability, Holds self-accountable for making decisions, managing resources efficiently
∎ Commitment to Continuous Learning, Focus on innovation and finding creative new ways to communicate messages
∎ Demonstrated ability to work in a team and to develop networks and collaborations accordingly
